Narrative:
ZOB at FL290. Assigned FL240. Put FL240 in MCP and in CDU and hit VNAV button, but it did not take. Did not notice it for an estimated 1-2 mins. Then initiated descent and then given a clearance to cross druzz at 15000 ft. We complied with the restr. ATC did not mention anything.
