Narrative:
Clearance read 'at anc 11 DME turn to intercept bgq 145 degree radial.' if controller specified left or right, we missed it. We assumed and made a right turn as was customary for our direction of flight and tracked outbound from bgq. As we found out from the center controller, we should have turned left to track inbound to bgq.

Title: A FLT CREW RECEIVED A CLRNC FOR A DME ARC, BUT DON'T RECALL APCH CTLR GIVING DIRECTION OF ARC. THEY TURNED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
Narrative: CLRNC READ 'AT ANC 11 DME TURN TO INTERCEPT BGQ 145 DEG RADIAL.' IF CTLR SPECIFIED L OR R, WE MISSED IT. WE ASSUMED AND MADE A R TURN AS WAS CUSTOMARY FOR OUR DIRECTION OF FLT AND TRACKED OUTBOUND FROM BGQ. AS WE FOUND OUT FROM THE CTR CTLR, WE SHOULD HAVE TURNED L TO TRACK INBOUND TO BGQ.
