Taxiing to runway 23, did not see hold short line and proceeded past it. Stopped when ground called for stop. Aircraft on final continued and landed. We never were on the runway but in protected area.

Narrative: TAXIING TO RWY 23, DID NOT SEE HOLD SHORT LINE AND PROCEEDED PAST IT. STOPPED WHEN GND CALLED FOR STOP. ACFT ON FINAL CONTINUED AND LANDED. WE NEVER WERE ON THE RWY BUT IN PROTECTED AREA.
