Narrative:
I departed hou on aug/sat/01 at XA27 en route to sat with 68 gallons of fuel in the auxiliary tanks and 26 gallons in the main tanks. I was cleared for the sat ILS approach runway 12R at approximately XB15 local time. ATIS was reporting 1300 ft overcast. I was in IMC. After intercepting the GS and as I lowered the gear, my left engine quit running. I immediately began my engine out procedures. Then my right engine quit running. I broke out of the overcast at approximately 1300 ft. I advised tower that I had both engines out and that I was landing off airport. I saw car headlights before me and I landed on the road. The landing took place with no damage to persons or property. I attempted to reach the tower on 121.5, but was unsuccessful. It appears that the fuel handles were not switched to auxiliary after takeoff in hou. A motorist stopped and loaned me a telephone. As I was attempting to call, the local police arrived. I obtained permission to add fuel to the main tanks, wait for daylight, get a clearance from tower and takeoff, which I did without incident.

Title: A BE55 PLT MADE AN EMER NIGHT LNDG ON A ROAD NEAR SAT WHEN BOTH ENGS QUIT ON FINAL.
Narrative: I DEPARTED HOU ON AUG/SAT/01 AT XA27 ENRTE TO SAT WITH 68 GALLONS OF FUEL IN THE AUX TANKS AND 26 GALLONS IN THE MAIN TANKS. I WAS CLRED FOR THE SAT ILS APCH RWY 12R AT APPROX XB15 LCL TIME. ATIS WAS RPTING 1300 FT OVCST. I WAS IN IMC. AFTER INTERCEPTING THE GS AND AS I LOWERED THE GEAR, MY L ENG QUIT RUNNING. I IMMEDIATELY BEGAN MY ENG OUT PROCS. THEN MY R ENG QUIT RUNNING. I BROKE OUT OF THE OVCST AT APPROX 1300 FT. I ADVISED TWR THAT I HAD BOTH ENGS OUT AND THAT I WAS LNDG OFF ARPT. I SAW CAR HEADLIGHTS BEFORE ME AND I LANDED ON THE ROAD. THE LNDG TOOK PLACE WITH NO DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY. I ATTEMPTED TO REACH THE TWR ON 121.5, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. IT APPEARS THAT THE FUEL HANDLES WERE NOT SWITCHED TO AUX AFTER TKOF IN HOU. A MOTORIST STOPPED AND LOANED ME A TELEPHONE. AS I WAS ATTEMPTING TO CALL, THE LCL POLICE ARRIVED. I OBTAINED PERMISSION TO ADD FUEL TO THE MAIN TANKS, WAIT FOR DAYLIGHT, GET A CLRNC FROM TWR AND TKOF, WHICH I DID WITHOUT INCIDENT.
