Narrative:
Kind of surprised when no one from flight service met our flight. Sat at the gate for 1.5 hours. The fire truck that the captain called never showed up. Since no one showed up, I never filled out a flight attendant report. Didn't have to say evacuate/evacuation commands, but, we did evacuate/evacuation at the gate.

Title: A FLT ATTENDANT RPT ON THE FAILURE OF CFR EQUIP TO ARRIVE AT ACFT AFTER BEING CALLED FOR SMOKE IN THE CABIN WHILE AT THE GATE AT ORD, IL
Narrative: KIND OF SURPRISED WHEN NO ONE FROM FLT SVC MET OUR FLT. SAT AT THE GATE FOR 1.5 HRS. THE FIRE TRUCK THAT THE CAPT CALLED NEVER SHOWED UP. SINCE NO ONE SHOWED UP, I NEVER FILLED OUT A FLT ATTENDANT RPT. DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY EVAC COMMANDS, BUT, WE DID EVAC AT THE GATE.
