Narrative:
Approaching the linden VOR to intercept the radial west and thunderstorm was right in our route of flight. I was watching the WX, the radial to intercept out, while flying a block 4 (no leveloff) autoplt. I noticed the altitude at FL204, stopped the climb and descended back to FL200 (cleared only to FL200).
