Narrative:
Landed long. A home built aircraft which had recently been rebuilt, failed -- rolled into the only choice grass to avoid collision of anything on end of runway. No damage to anything. I don't know what could have been wrong. There was a crosswind, but easily handled by this aircraft with 80 degrees braking at runway 10.
