Narrative:
On climb out from a departure of okc to dfw, passing through 14500 ft, left engine started a loss of power, developing partial power. An emergency was declared with ZFW, and was asked if we could maintain altitude. Ran emergency checklist as per company poh, while in communication with ATC. We were asked for intentions, and vital information. We asked for direct dallas and it was approved. Engine was feathered and left running. Received vectors for a visual approach to runway 17R at dfw. Also told ATC crash trucks were not needed, although they were still on standby. Made a single approach and landing at dfw. ATC did give us priority handling, and on ground, did talk to crash trucks, relaying everything ok, will taxi to the gate. Crash trucks did follow us to gate. By the time all checklists were accomplished, dfw was the nearest suitable airport.

Title: AN E120 CREW EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF PWR ON THEIR L ENG DURING CLBOUT FROM OKC.
Narrative: ON CLBOUT FROM A DEP OF OKC TO DFW, PASSING THROUGH 14500 FT, L ENG STARTED A LOSS OF PWR, DEVELOPING PARTIAL PWR. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH ZFW, AND WAS ASKED IF WE COULD MAINTAIN ALT. RAN EMER CHKLIST AS PER COMPANY POH, WHILE IN COM WITH ATC. WE WERE ASKED FOR INTENTIONS, AND VITAL INFO. WE ASKED FOR DIRECT DALLAS AND IT WAS APPROVED. ENG WAS FEATHERED AND LEFT RUNNING. RECEIVED VECTORS FOR A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 17R AT DFW. ALSO TOLD ATC CRASH TRUCKS WERE NOT NEEDED, ALTHOUGH THEY WERE STILL ON STANDBY. MADE A SINGLE APCH AND LNDG AT DFW. ATC DID GIVE US PRIORITY HANDLING, AND ON GND, DID TALK TO CRASH TRUCKS, RELAYING EVERYTHING OK, WILL TAXI TO THE GATE. CRASH TRUCKS DID FOLLOW US TO GATE. BY THE TIME ALL CHKLISTS WERE ACCOMPLISHED, DFW WAS THE NEAREST SUITABLE ARPT.
