Narrative:
Landed at mvy runway 24. Local controller advised exit at taxiway B, 'hold short of parallel taxiway a, contact ground.' advised local controller 'wiico and we will be unable to cross hold short line.' when I contacted ground, I advised ground, holding short taxiway a and unable to cross hold short line. I was cleared to taxi in to parking. This same sequence has happened to me several times at this airport. On departure, waiting for takeoff clearance, heard same instructions for a GA aircraft and the aircraft landing behind the GA aircraft was an air carrier. What gives? A stuck brake, a blown tire, or even a failed reverse thrust could put the air carrier aircraft and the other aircraft in grave danger.

Title: A C182 PLT HAS SOME CONCERNS WITH THE WAY MVY TWR CONDUCTS ITS OPS.
Narrative: LANDED AT MVY RWY 24. LCL CTLR ADVISED EXIT AT TXWY B, 'HOLD SHORT OF PARALLEL TXWY A, CONTACT GND.' ADVISED LCL CTLR 'WIICO AND WE WILL BE UNABLE TO CROSS HOLD SHORT LINE.' WHEN I CONTACTED GND, I ADVISED GND, HOLDING SHORT TXWY A AND UNABLE TO CROSS HOLD SHORT LINE. I WAS CLRED TO TAXI IN TO PARKING. THIS SAME SEQUENCE HAS HAPPENED TO ME SEVERAL TIMES AT THIS ARPT. ON DEP, WAITING FOR TKOF CLRNC, HEARD SAME INSTRUCTIONS FOR A GA ACFT AND THE ACFT LNDG BEHIND THE GA ACFT WAS AN ACR. WHAT GIVES? A STUCK BRAKE, A BLOWN TIRE, OR EVEN A FAILED REVERSE THRUST COULD PUT THE ACR ACFT AND THE OTHER ACFT IN GRAVE DANGER.
