Narrative:
Called crew scheduling at least twice a day. Occasionally I got to talk to a person, notably mr X who was very professional, helpful, and friendly under difficult circumstances. However, almost every time I called I received a message which said don't call crew scheduling but that crew scheduling would call crew members when they were needed. All crews I talked to who had received flying assignments had initiated the call to crew scheduling -- they had not been called by crew scheduling. Why would crew scheduling put out the message to not be called when it seems that was the only way to get anything done? I have learned to initiate the call myself, not wait for a call from crew scheduling. Is this what crew scheduling wants?

Title: ACR PLT FRUSTRATED WITH COMPANY CREW SCHEDULING PROC.
Narrative: CALLED CREW SCHEDULING AT LEAST TWICE A DAY.
