Narrative:

In holding pattern at rains, flight attendant notified flight deck of possible hazmat spill. Possible human factor problem: when we called dispatch for help, we requested a 'dangerous goods specialist' on the line to determine the potential danger of the 'amoresse' medication (alcohol, thymol, pcmx) spill. We were locked into asking for a dangerous goods specialist because of the name of the checklist in the cockpit. Dispatcher was unsure of our request. We probably would have eliminated confusion by asking for a 'hazmat specialist,' but in the heat of the battle.
