Narrative:
Under authority/authorized of the PIC as provided for by FARS as a means to ensure the safety and security of the passenger, crew, aircraft, and persons and property on the ground against the continuing threat of air terrorism, and particularly against an attack on the cockpit, a male flight attendant was assigned to duty on the cockpit jump seat for climb and descent to assist in repelling such an attack.

Narrative: UNDER AUTH OF THE PIC AS PROVIDED FOR BY FARS AS A MEANS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE PAX, CREW, ACFT, AND PERSONS AND PROPERTY ON THE GROUND AGAINST THE CONTINUING THREAT OF AIR TERRORISM, AND PARTICULARLY AGAINST AN ATTACK ON THE COCKPIT, A MALE FLT ATTENDANT WAS ASSIGNED TO DUTY ON THE COCKPIT JUMP SEAT FOR CLIMB AND DESCENT TO ASSIST IN REPELLING SUCH AN ATTACK.
