Narrative:
I missed the 'one thousand to go' call and I advised that we needed to leveloff as we were passing approximately 14850 ft, we got up to 15320 ft. No comment from ZOA. We were then cleared to FL230, all else was normal. Perhaps the only recommendation that I can make is that I should have been more 'heads up' while the other pilot was hand-flying, or that maybe we should have had the autoplt on to help us keep better situational awareness. I don't think there was any other aircraft conflict.
