Narrative:
Re-filed clearance to cross claws at FL270. During previous stepdown descent clearance, we forgot to set course altitude in the cruise page. Started down too late to make restr. Missed restr by approximately 300 ft. To prevent recurrence, I will be sure to set altitude during stepdowns in the FMC.
