Narrative:
We performed a normal takeoff and climb from ric. During the climb, we noted the smell of smoke. After contacting the flight attendant, we confirmed that we had smoke in the cabin. We later received the toilet smoke caption (the only smoke detector in the cabin). We completed the appropriate memory items and checklists. Returning to ric, we performed a normal landing from an ILS. After landing we performed an evacuate/evacuation. There were no injuries or further incidents.

Narrative: WE PERFORMED A NORMAL TKOF AND CLB FROM RIC. DURING THE CLB, WE NOTED THE SMELL OF SMOKE. AFTER CONTACTING THE FLT ATTENDANT, WE CONFIRMED THAT WE HAD SMOKE IN THE CABIN. WE LATER RECEIVED THE TOILET SMOKE CAPTION (THE ONLY SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE CABIN). WE COMPLETED THE APPROPRIATE MEMORY ITEMS AND CHKLISTS. RETURNING TO RIC, WE PERFORMED A NORMAL LNDG FROM AN ILS. AFTER LNDG WE PERFORMED AN EVAC. THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR FURTHER INCIDENTS.
