Narrative:
Controller was hassling another aircraft about radio unreliable. We were in another aircraft about 15 mi away and heard the other aircraft loud and clear. This controller has a very dangerous habit of yelling at pilots and especially student pilots. He uses valuable radio time to unnecessarily belittle pilots. This controller creates a very tense environment in the cockpit.
