Narrative:
F16's too close. On departure from tus and while cleaning up, 2 F16's passed directly over my aircraft separated by only a couple hundred ft. We could hear the jet blast from the F16's very distinctly as they flew over the S80 and then broke right to enter the pattern at tus. I asked the tower about the 2 F16's. He said he was sorry. He forgot to tell us about them. He said the F16's did have us in sight. I imagine the two were having fun. Though, they could have sidestepped away from us or flown higher so as not to scare my passenger or surprise me and my first officer who was PF. In these times we don't need to be creating more anxiety for the passenger.
