Narrative:
Lexington approach was sequencing our approach for lexington (bluegrass) airport. We were in IMC at 3000 ft AGL. We were vectored to intercept the localizer but our localizer failed. I asked to be resequenced then we lost radio contact. I tried squawking 7600 but the transponder failed. I realized we had lost all electrical power. I let down via battery operated GPS to 1600 ft MSL and was in VFR conditions. We flew via GPS guidance to the bluegrass field and the tower gave us the green light to land. We landed safely and I reported via telephone to the ATC supervisor at bluegrass the events above. (P.south. I waited on taxiway a when we landed for the tower to give us light signals to taxi, but they did not. I then taxied to the ramp.)
