MEL items for aircraft right engine vibration were not completed by maintenance. This was discovered on preflight by crew trying to locate deferral sticker for aircraft in cockpit.

Title: A B777 WAS RETURNED TO SVC IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH R ENG VIBRATION INDICATOR DEFERRED PER THE MEL BUT PLACARDS WERE NOT INSTALLED PER MEL REQUIREMENTS.
Narrative: MEL ITEMS FOR ACFT R ENG VIBRATION WERE NOT COMPLETED BY MAINT. THIS WAS DISCOVERED ON PREFLT BY CREW TRYING TO LOCATE DEFERRAL STICKER FOR ACFT IN COCKPIT.
