Narrative:
Having planned a direct flight from ZZZ airport to ZZZ1 airport, I attempted to contact a flight briefer prior to the flight. I made three attempts to contact a briefer. The first attempt was the toll-free number, which changed to another number. I looked up the number for the ZZZ2 flight center and called them, I was unable to get a briefer, but did listen to the ZZZ2 WX briefer tape. Nothing unusual was reported, except for very high winds. Before leaving ZZZ airport asked the airport manager to check the flight data for my flight on their office computer. After finally getting on line (due to terrible access and phone conditions) she reported nothing of consequence other than very strong winds along my route, and a storm moving through the ZZZ2 area that was traveling at 20 mph and should be clear of the area on my arrival. I looked at the current WX map to confirm this. On route, I decided to divert towards ZZZ3 airport and then south to avoid the mountain turbulence. While in route I monitored flight watch and guard frequencies, but heard nothing out of the ordinary. Long before entering the ZZZ2 area, I monitored ATIS at ZZZ1 airport, again hearing nothing out of the ordinary. After landing at ZZZ1 I was asked to call the center supervisor, who informed me that I had infringed on two areas that had become restr less than 24 hours previous. As for what could have been done to possibly prevent the problem: put a red circle or marker on the national WX map to show recently restr areas. Include this information in the transcribed WX briefings. Include a transcribed briefing of recently restr areas as an option. Include local restr areas in the ATIS broadcasts. Have additional briefers available in times of emergency. Use guard frequency to alert pilots that they are about to enter a restr area.

Title: SMA PLT INADVERTENTLY ENTERED TWO RESTR AREAS DURING A CROSS COUNTRY FLT DUE TO NOT RECEIVING ANY NOTICE THROUGH HIS EFFORTS IN PREFLT REQUESTED BRIEFINGS FROM FSS SERVICES. RPTR DID MONITOR FLT WATCH/GUARD FREQUENCIES, BUT HEARD NOTHING REGARDING THE TWO NEW RESTR AIRSPACES THROUGH WHICH HE HAD TRAVERSED.
Narrative: HAVING PLANNED A DIRECT FLT FROM ZZZ ARPT TO ZZZ1 ARPT, I ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT A FLT BRIEFER PRIOR TO THE FLT. I MADE THREE ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT A BRIEFER. THE FIRST ATTEMPT WAS THE TOLL-FREE NUMBER, WHICH CHANGED TO ANOTHER NUMBER. I LOOKED UP THE NUMBER FOR THE ZZZ2 FLT CTR AND CALLED THEM, I WAS UNABLE TO GET A BRIEFER, BUT DID LISTEN TO THE ZZZ2 WX BRIEFER TAPE. NOTHING UNUSUAL WAS RPTED, EXCEPT FOR VERY HIGH WINDS. BEFORE LEAVING ZZZ ARPT ASKED THE ARPT MANAGER TO CHECK THE FLT DATA FOR MY FLT ON THEIR OFFICE COMPUTER. AFTER FINALLY GETTING ON LINE (DUE TO TERRIBLE ACCESS AND PHONE CONDITIONS) SHE RPTED NOTHING OF CONSEQUENCE OTHER THAN VERY STRONG WINDS ALONG MY ROUTE, AND A STORM MOVING THROUGH THE ZZZ2 AREA THAT WAS TRAVELING AT 20 MPH AND SHOULD BE CLR OF THE AREA ON MY ARRIVAL. I LOOKED AT THE CURRENT WX MAP TO CONFIRM THIS. ON ROUTE, I DECIDED TO DIVERT TOWARDS ZZZ3 ARPT AND THEN S TO AVOID THE MOUNTAIN TURBULENCE. WHILE IN ROUTE I MONITORED FLT WATCH AND GUARD FREQUENCIES, BUT HEARD NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY. LONG BEFORE ENTERING THE ZZZ2 AREA, I MONITORED ATIS AT ZZZ1 ARPT, AGAIN HEARING NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY. AFTER LNDG AT ZZZ1 I WAS ASKED TO CALL THE CTR SUPVR, WHO INFORMED ME THAT I HAD INFRINGED ON TWO AREAS THAT HAD BECOME RESTR LESS THAN 24 HRS PREVIOUS. AS FOR WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO POSSIBLY PREVENT THE PROB: PUT A RED CIRCLE OR MARKER ON THE NATIONAL WX MAP TO SHOW RECENTLY RESTR AREAS. INCLUDE THIS INFO IN THE TRANSCRIBED WX BRIEFINGS. INCLUDE A TRANSCRIBED BRIEFING OF RECENTLY RESTR AREAS AS AN OPTION. INCLUDE LOCAL RESTR AREAS IN THE ATIS BROADCASTS. HAVE ADDITIONAL BRIEFERS AVAILABLE IN TIMES OF EMERGENCY. USE GUARD FREQ TO ALERT PLTS THAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO ENTER A RESTR AREA.
