While en route, we experienced a dual inverter failure, resulting in the loss of all primary navigation instruments. The problem was that we lost our primary, heading data, attitude and altitude information. While troubleshooting the problem. We may have deviated from our assigned altitude, and course, thus violating an far.

Title: A SMALL ACR ACFT SUFFERS THE DUAL LOSS OF BOTH INVERTERS, EXPERIENCING AN ALT AND COURSE DEV IN THE PROCESS NEAR LYH, VA.
Narrative: WHILE ENRTE, WE EXPERIENCED A DUAL INVERTER FAILURE, RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF ALL PRIMARY NAV INSTS. THE PROB WAS THAT WE LOST OUR PRIMARY, HDG DATA, ATTITUDE AND ALT INFO. WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROB. WE MAY HAVE DEVIATED FROM OUR ASSIGNED ALT, AND COURSE, THUS VIOLATING AN FAR.
