Narrative:

On civet 4 arrival into lax. Between civet and bremr intersection on VNAV descent, the aircraft continued below 12000 ft prior to bremr intersection. The aircraft was flown manually back to 12000 ft and crossed bremr intersection at 12000 ft. The restr of 12000 ft or above at bremr was complied with. The aircraft reached approximately 11500 ft prior to manually flying back to 12000 ft for crossing restr. Cause: VNAV descent did not have bremr as a hard altitude crossing restr after the initial input of FMS arrival contained restr. Unknown reason for change.

Narrative: ON CIVET 4 ARR INTO LAX. BETWEEN CIVET AND BREMR INTERSECTION ON VNAV DESCENT, THE ACFT CONTINUED BELOW 12000 FT PRIOR TO BREMR INTERSECTION. THE ACFT WAS FLOWN MANUALLY BACK TO 12000 FT AND CROSSED BREMR INTERSECTION AT 12000 FT. THE RESTR OF 12000 FT OR ABOVE AT BREMR WAS COMPLIED WITH. THE ACFT REACHED APPROX 11500 FT PRIOR TO MANUALLY FLYING BACK TO 12000 FT FOR CROSSING RESTR. CAUSE: VNAV DESCENT DID NOT HAVE BREMR AS A HARD ALTITUDE CROSSING RESTR AFTER THE INITIAL INPUT OF FMS ARRIVAL CONTAINED RESTR. UNKNOWN REASON FOR CHANGE.
