Narrative:
While I was checking oil on #2 engine, I noticed a possible over service condition. I asked another mechanic for his opinion on the oil level. After the second mechanic checked the oil level, the door latching may have been inadvertently left unsecured, but to the best of my knowledge all door fasteners were properly secured.

Title: A DORNIER 328 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH #2 ENG OIL SVC DOOR LEFT OPEN.
Narrative: WHILE I WAS CHKING OIL ON #2 ENG, I NOTICED A POSSIBLE OVER SVC CONDITION. I ASKED ANOTHER MECH FOR HIS OPINION ON THE OIL LEVEL. AFTER THE SECOND MECH CHKED THE OIL LEVEL, THE DOOR LATCHING MAY HAVE BEEN INADVERTENTLY LEFT UNSECURED, BUT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE ALL DOOR FASTENERS WERE PROPERLY SECURED.
