Narrative:
On nov/mon/01 a missing seal was reported on the acm inlet both right and left sides on write-up. The items were deferred per manual. After talking to technician, technician said a deferral item would be issued after the deferral was on release. Once the work package was turned in, one of the write-ups was not processed to release. On nov/tue/01 I reviewed the release to verify both write-ups and deferred item was present on aircraft and found one missing. Called technician and had items added correctly.

Title: A B757-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH 2 INLET AIR CYCLE MACHINE SEALS MISSING AND DEFERRED BUT ONLY ONE LISTED ON THE MAINT RELEASE.
Narrative: ON NOV/MON/01 A MISSING SEAL WAS RPTED ON THE ACM INLET BOTH R AND L SIDES ON WRITE-UP. THE ITEMS WERE DEFERRED PER MANUAL. AFTER TALKING TO TECHNICIAN, TECHNICIAN SAID A DEFERRAL ITEM WOULD BE ISSUED AFTER THE DEFERRAL WAS ON RELEASE. ONCE THE WORK PACKAGE WAS TURNED IN, ONE OF THE WRITE-UPS WAS NOT PROCESSED TO RELEASE. ON NOV/TUE/01 I REVIEWED THE RELEASE TO VERIFY BOTH WRITE-UPS AND DEFERRED ITEM WAS PRESENT ON ACFT AND FOUND ONE MISSING. CALLED TECHNICIAN AND HAD ITEMS ADDED CORRECTLY.
