Narrative:

I was on call from XA00 till XC00 local. Crew scheduling called me at XA00 and asked if I could be at the airport in 1 hour to fly a trip to ZZZ1. I said yes I can be there within 1 hour. I flew the trip. Upon my arrival in ZZZ1 crew scheduling was on the phone, telling me I am illegal for the trip due to flying 8 hours in 24. I asked why the computer had not flagged this. I was told the trip had not been put in the computer (on my line till I was airborne). My total flight time in this 24 hour period is 11 hours 26 mins.

Narrative: I WAS ON CALL FROM XA00 TILL XC00 LCL. CREW SCHEDULING CALLED ME AT XA00 AND ASKED IF I COULD BE AT THE ARPT IN 1 HR TO FLY A TRIP TO ZZZ1. I SAID YES I CAN BE THERE WITHIN 1 HR.
