Narrative:
On the morning of dec/xxa/01, after takeoff and during initial climb, flight XXX dfw-ZZZ, encountered small number of birds. Birds may have been starlings or about that size foul. Bird impacted captain's side direct view window just below windshield wiper. The bird hit on sheet metal portion of nose. Continued flight uneventfully to las.
