Narrative:

On approach into pwa, I was cleared to 10000 ft by ftw center. At approximately 11000 ft, I observed traffic at my 11 O'clock position. As it became apparent the traffic was on a collision course, I steepened my descent and attempted to contact ftw center for advisories. When pending collision became obvious, I initiated a steep descent at approximately 45 degrees left bank to avoid the other aircraft. The aircraft, a piper aztec passed through my windscreen at approximately 500 ft above me. At this time I was at approximately 9500 ft and in a steep descent. During my leveloff, center advised me to contact okc approach. Upon contact, I was asked my last assigned altitude which I reported to 10000 ft. I also told okc approach I had attempted to contact ftw center and asked okc approach if they had seen the aztec. The response was to contact okc approach upon landing. Upon leveloff from the action I took to avoid the collision, my altitude was approximately 7500 ft at which time observed another aircraft at my 12 O'clock position, a turbine commander which was above me at estimated 8000 ft. I did not initiate a climb back to assigned altitude because of that aircraft and the fact that I, at that point, was talking to okc approach.

Title: BEECH 200 PLT INCREASED DSCNT AND BANKED STEEPLY TO AVOID A PIPER AZTEC ON WHAT APPEARED TO BE A COLLISION COURSE.

Narrative: ON APCH INTO PWA, I WAS CLRED TO 10000 FT BY FTW CTR. AT APPROX 11000 FT, I OBSERVED TFC AT MY 11 O'CLOCK POS. AS IT BECAME APPARENT THE TFC WAS ON A COLLISION COURSE, I STEEPENED MY DSCNT AND ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT FTW CTR FOR ADVISORIES. WHEN PENDING COLLISION BECAME OBVIOUS, I INITIATED A STEEP DSCNT AT APPROX 45 DEGS L BANK TO AVOID THE OTHER ACFT. THE ACFT, A PIPER AZTEC PASSED THROUGH MY WINDSCREEN AT APPROX 500 FT ABOVE ME. AT THIS TIME I WAS AT APPROX 9500 FT AND IN A STEEP DSCNT. DURING MY LEVELOFF, CTR ADVISED ME TO CONTACT OKC APCH. UPON CONTACT, I WAS ASKED MY LAST ASSIGNED ALT WHICH I RPTED TO 10000 FT. I ALSO TOLD OKC APCH I HAD ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT FTW CTR AND ASKED OKC APCH IF THEY HAD SEEN THE AZTEC. THE RESPONSE WAS TO CONTACT OKC APCH UPON LNDG. UPON LEVELOFF FROM THE ACTION I TOOK TO AVOID THE COLLISION, MY ALT WAS APPROX 7500 FT AT WHICH TIME OBSERVED ANOTHER ACFT AT MY 12 O'CLOCK POS, A TURBINE COMMANDER WHICH WAS ABOVE ME AT ESTIMATED 8000 FT. I DID NOT INITIATE A CLB BACK TO ASSIGNED ALT BECAUSE OF THAT ACFT AND THE FACT THAT I, AT THAT POINT, WAS TALKING TO OKC APCH.
