Narrative:
We were taxiing a cessna 441 from the north ramp to runway 4. I was taxiing and handling the radios while my copilot was setting up the avionics and completing pre-takeoff checks. We noticed and crossed runway 29L, and proceeded down on taxiway C. Approximately 150 ft from the intersection of taxiway C and runway 4/22, ground assigned us a new squawk code. I responded and tuned in the code. Somehow during the next 5-8 seconds both of us became consumed with tasks inside the cockpit and we continued straight through the hold lines and across runway 4/22. We regained our situational awareness too late as I looked out in the darkness and saw the centerline stripes pass under the wing. Thankfully we were the only aircraft on the ground and no one was prepared to land or take off. Once we reached the other side, ground asked what we were doing. I apologized for what just happened and I requested to taxi to runway 4 via taxiway B. He said that was fine and we departed shortly thereafter.

Title: CESSNA 441 CONQUEST, INADVERTENTLY TAXIED ACROSS RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: WE WERE TAXIING A CESSNA 441 FROM THE N RAMP TO RWY 4. I WAS TAXIING AND HANDLING THE RADIOS WHILE MY COPLT WAS SETTING UP THE AVIONICS AND COMPLETING PRE-TKOF CHKS. WE NOTICED AND CROSSED RWY 29L, AND PROCEEDED DOWN ON TXWY C. APPROX 150 FT FROM THE INTXN OF TXWY C AND RWY 4/22, GND ASSIGNED US A NEW SQUAWK CODE. I RESPONDED AND TUNED IN THE CODE. SOMEHOW DURING THE NEXT 5-8 SECONDS BOTH OF US BECAME CONSUMED WITH TASKS INSIDE THE COCKPIT AND WE CONTINUED STRAIGHT THROUGH THE HOLD LINES AND ACROSS RWY 4/22. WE REGAINED OUR SITUATIONAL AWARENESS TOO LATE AS I LOOKED OUT IN THE DARKNESS AND SAW THE CTRLINE STRIPES PASS UNDER THE WING. THANKFULLY WE WERE THE ONLY ACFT ON THE GND AND NO ONE WAS PREPARED TO LAND OR TAKE OFF. ONCE WE REACHED THE OTHER SIDE, GND ASKED WHAT WE WERE DOING. I APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT JUST HAPPENED AND I REQUESTED TO TAXI TO RWY 4 VIA TXWY B. HE SAID THAT WAS FINE AND WE DEPARTED SHORTLY THEREAFTER.
