Narrative:
After takeoff, I noticed that we were not climbing, and I did not hear the chime for ending sterile cockpit. The captain called and asked how was everyone and then informed all flight attendants of the situation. I made a PA and informed the passenger that we were returning to the gate. The captain then made a PA afterwards explaining the mechanical. All went well. We arrived at gate, no evacuate/evacuations necessary.
