Narrative:
(Burning smell in cockpit) captain called back to see if I was cooking something in the oven. It was their meals, asked if it smelled normal, I said 'yes.' 15 mins later the captain called back again. Asked me to come up to the cockpit. Immediately I smelled a burning rubber smell. I informed the cockpit what I smelled, he then asked me to get the #2 flight attendant. He told the captain the same thing. The captain said, ok we are going back and he would make the PA. About 10 mins later he called me again told me to come to the cockpit. He then gave me the test information. We landed uneventful. We were met by the emergency crews. The captain made other PA to let the passenger know what was going on. When we arrived at the gate all the passenger deplaned safely.
