Narrative:
While taking off, the engine lost power and I was forced to land. Since I was still over the runway with about 3000 ft still in front of me, I continued straight ahead and landed without incident.

Title: AN EXPERIMENTAL ACFT PLT, DEPARTING BCT, EXPERIENCED AN ENG FAILURE AT 200 FT. HE WAS ABLE TO LAND STRAIGHT AHEAD ON REMAINDER OF RWY.
Narrative: WHILE TAKING OFF, THE ENG LOST PWR AND I WAS FORCED TO LAND. SINCE I WAS STILL OVER THE RWY WITH ABOUT 3000 FT STILL IN FRONT OF ME, I CONTINUED STRAIGHT AHEAD AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
