Narrative:
When we landed in rochester, we were given a taxi clearance to taxi txwys a, H, and D, hold short of runway 28. After we turned onto taxiway D, I saw the yellow flashing hold short lights for runway 22, and mistook them for runway 28. Just before crossing the hold short line for runway 28, the first officer noticed my mistake, and said to hold short. The aircraft was just beyond the hold short line for runway 28 when it stopped. The above occurred on the last day of a 4 day trip, on the first leg with a new first officer. 2 other first officer's had to get off this same trip due to being furloughed. This may have caused some distraction from my full attention of seeing the correct hold short point.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A B733 CREW, AFTER LNDG AT ROC, TAXIED PAST A HOLD SHORT LINE.
Narrative: WHEN WE LANDED IN ROCHESTER, WE WERE GIVEN A TAXI CLRNC TO TAXI TXWYS A, H, AND D, HOLD SHORT OF RWY 28. AFTER WE TURNED ONTO TXWY D, I SAW THE YELLOW FLASHING HOLD SHORT LIGHTS FOR RWY 22, AND MISTOOK THEM FOR RWY 28. JUST BEFORE XING THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 28, THE FO NOTICED MY MISTAKE, AND SAID TO HOLD SHORT. THE ACFT WAS JUST BEYOND THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 28 WHEN IT STOPPED. THE ABOVE OCCURRED ON THE LAST DAY OF A 4 DAY TRIP, ON THE FIRST LEG WITH A NEW FO. 2 OTHER FO'S HAD TO GET OFF THIS SAME TRIP DUE TO BEING FURLOUGHED. THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED SOME DISTR FROM MY FULL ATTN OF SEEING THE CORRECT HOLD SHORT POINT.
