Narrative:

ZTL asked us to hold as published at sinca on the sinca 3 arrival into atlanta. The holding at sinca is left turns, 15 mi legs. In the process of loading this holding into the FMS, my finger slipped to the published holding at rippi. Rippi is right turns with 11 mi legs. The captain looked over at what I was pointing to and also read r-hand turns. We asked center for 20 mi legs and received that. 1/2 way through the turn, center contacted us about the direction of the turn. They said there was conflict or problem and told us to continue that turn in holding to the left and then on the next go back to the right. We were soon after vectored out of holding for the approach.
