Narrative:
Numerous 'little' mistakes were made by center, flight service and controllers on this flight. I am not complaining, I was able to figure each out and it get clarified. One controller may have thought I should have caught something quicker. I am critical of myself and wish I had too, but I am not the 'bad guy' here. IFR flight love, dallas to cancun, mx. Clearance delivery said 'strangely, there are 3 flight plans for you and your filed altitude of FL390 is nonstd' would you like FL400 or FL420? (Eventually I got my correctly filed FL390) clearance delivery said, 'cleared joe poole 'bilee' 'tnv' 'intercontinental' sbi, etc.' I figured out 'intercontinental' was 'humble' or iah and got that clarified. On climb out, was given heading 'to intercept departure' 120 degree, but in order intercept, was later given 180 degrees as I was right over the VOR. One controller may have thought I was off course as he asked to clarify joe poole 9 was assigned. The center controller asked 'are you assigned joe poole 9 navasota' (tnv). I answered 'affirmative' because I 'knew what he meant.' technically, his question was wrong as joe poole 9 goes to bilee, not navasota. My clearance after sbi was direct cun which I expected would later be changed to my filed A766 otelo, UJ52, cun. But center cleared me' sbi, A766, edgar, UJ52, cun.' now I knew edgar is not on UJ52 and that they meant otelo, which I eventually got clarified.

Title: C525 FLC RESOLVES MULTIPLE CLRNC ERRORS FIRST WITH IAH CD, THEN D10 AND FINALLY ZFW.
Narrative: NUMEROUS 'LITTLE' MISTAKES WERE MADE BY CENTER, FLT SVC AND CTLRS ON THIS FLT. I AM NOT COMPLAINING, I WAS ABLE TO FIGURE EACH OUT AND IT GET CLARIFIED. ONE CTLR MAY HAVE THOUGHT I SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT SOMETHING QUICKER. I AM CRITICAL OF MYSELF AND WISH I HAD TOO, BUT I AM NOT THE 'BAD GUY' HERE. IFR FLT LOVE, DALLAS TO CANCUN, MX. CLRNC DELIVERY SAID 'STRANGELY, THERE ARE 3 FLT PLANS FOR YOU AND YOUR FILED ALT OF FL390 IS NONSTD' WOULD YOU LIKE FL400 OR FL420? (EVENTUALLY I GOT MY CORRECTLY FILED FL390) CLRNC DELIVERY SAID, 'CLRED JOE POOLE 'BILEE' 'TNV' 'INTERCONTINENTAL' SBI, ETC.' I FIGURED OUT 'INTERCONTINENTAL' WAS 'HUMBLE' OR IAH AND GOT THAT CLARIFIED. ON CLBOUT, WAS GIVEN HDG 'TO INTERCEPT DEP' 120 DEG, BUT IN ORDER INTERCEPT, WAS LATER GIVEN 180 DEGS AS I WAS RIGHT OVER THE VOR. ONE CTLR MAY HAVE THOUGHT I WAS OFF COURSE AS HE ASKED TO CLARIFY JOE POOLE 9 WAS ASSIGNED. THE CENTER CTLR ASKED 'ARE YOU ASSIGNED JOE POOLE 9 NAVASOTA' (TNV). I ANSWERED 'AFFIRMATIVE' BECAUSE I 'KNEW WHAT HE MEANT.' TECHNICALLY, HIS QUESTION WAS WRONG AS JOE POOLE 9 GOES TO BILEE, NOT NAVASOTA. MY CLRNC AFTER SBI WAS DIRECT CUN WHICH I EXPECTED WOULD LATER BE CHANGED TO MY FILED A766 OTELO, UJ52, CUN. BUT CENTER CLRED ME' SBI, A766, EDGAR, UJ52, CUN.' NOW I KNEW EDGAR IS NOT ON UJ52 AND THAT THEY MEANT OTELO, WHICH I EVENTUALLY GOT CLARIFIED.
