Narrative:
We planned a flaps 2 degree takeoff and had a #2 engine start malfunction. Talked to maintenance and solved problem. On taxi out, inadvertently set the flaps to flaps 1 degree. Takeoff data for flaps 1 degree and 2 degrees were the same. On the takeoff roll at 80 KTS, noticed flaps set to 1 degree and set the flaps to 2 degrees and continued the takeoff rather than abort. The distraction of the start malfunction may have led to this. However, extra diligence may also have helped.

Title: A320 FLC RECONFIGURED THE FLAP SETTING ON TKOF ROLL AFTER THEY DISCOVERED THAT THEY HAD NOT SET THEM AS AGREED DURING PRETKOF CHKLIST.
Narrative: WE PLANNED A FLAPS 2 DEG TKOF AND HAD A #2 ENG START MALFUNCTION. TALKED TO MAINT AND SOLVED PROB. ON TAXI OUT, INADVERTENTLY SET THE FLAPS TO FLAPS 1 DEG. TKOF DATA FOR FLAPS 1 DEG AND 2 DEGS WERE THE SAME. ON THE TKOF ROLL AT 80 KTS, NOTICED FLAPS SET TO 1 DEG AND SET THE FLAPS TO 2 DEGS AND CONTINUED THE TKOF RATHER THAN ABORT. THE DISTR OF THE START MALFUNCTION MAY HAVE LED TO THIS. HOWEVER, EXTRA DILIGENCE MAY ALSO HAVE HELPED.
