Narrative:

First flight on B757-300 for captain and first officer. Flight deck prebrief included review of training bulletin. After flight deck differences review, first officer completed walkaround. First takeoff and landing uneventful. Pitch report reviewed, captain completed walkaround. Second takeoff and landing uneventful, takeoff pitch report reviewed. All pitch reports well within limits. Home phone call 6 hours later, was informed that next crew inspection found a tailskid scrape with cap missing. Due to newness of visual inspection of tailskid area, and tailskid design, it appears both this crew and maintenance overlooked skid cap damage. I believe the damage was done prior to this flight sequence.
