Narrative:
Taxiing out for takeoff at las at night. Cleared to cross runway 1R and 1L. Not familiar with airport. After captain taxiied across runway 1R there was a taxiway in the middle of the runways thinking that was runway 1L, turned onto runway 1L, causing a commercial aircraft to go around. I believe the cause of confusion was created by poor markings and an unfamiliar part of the airport at night. We taxied clear, no further incident. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: commented that he and the captain were unfamiliar with the airport and its layout and that the captain called the tower upon reaching his destination.
