Narrative:

I may have had my left main tire(south) off the cement into a grass area when turning left on taxiway M at bna prior to takeoff. Nosewheel was on yellow center stripe during taxi. I don't recall any unusual activity during taxi. Changed aircraft in atl and was called by dispatch and asked about mud on tires. Continued to las and did not hear any more about this event. Returned to bna and during taxi out noted some railroad ties with flashers in area where I suspect I could have had left main gear off of cement. Supplemental information from acn 538114: no mud noticed during preflight in bna. Possibility of mud on taxiway in bna due to dirt and melting snow.
