Narrative:
Cleared for visual into sus by stl approach control. Switched to tower. We were requested to report entering left downwind for runway 26L. Just before entering the downwind, #2 aircraft on our left (appeared to be in crosswind from runway 26L) was at or about our same altitude. Tower did not give any advisory of traffic. We took evasive maneuvers to maintain separation. Supplemental information from acn 538035: just before reporting left downwind, noticed cessna aircraft on crosswind at or about same altitude at 9-10 O'clock position. Slight pull up was made by myself, and other aircraft banked right.

WE TOOK EVASIVE MANEUVERS TO MAINTAIN SEPARATION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 538035: JUST BEFORE RPTING L DOWNWIND, NOTICED CESSNA ACFT ON XWIND AT OR ABOUT SAME ALT AT 9-10 O'CLOCK POS.
