Narrative:
Taxi out for takeoff, switched to tower and advised ready. He instructed us to hold short and then stated that he thought we had gone past hold short line. Nose of aircraft was on hold line. The line was a considerable distance back from the runway on the parallel taxiway.

Title: A GLF4 CREW, TAXIING FOR TKOF AT GMU, TAXIED PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE.
Narrative: TAXI OUT FOR TKOF, SWITCHED TO TWR AND ADVISED READY. HE INSTRUCTED US TO HOLD SHORT AND THEN STATED THAT HE THOUGHT WE HAD GONE PAST HOLD SHORT LINE. NOSE OF ACFT WAS ON HOLD LINE. THE LINE WAS A CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE BACK FROM THE RWY ON THE PARALLEL TXWY.
