Narrative:
I was flying an R22 helicopter and was in the area of boca raton, fl. The WX was forecast to be clear and windy, but I had encountered light to moderate turbulence. In accordance with the rhc flight manual, I was seeing a safe landing spot and decided to go to boca raton airport which was about 7-8 mi away. Since I did not want to let go of the flight controls, I asked the passenger to try and tune the correct frequency for the airport. He had some difficulty since he was not a pilot. After he finally got the correct frequency, I made several calls to the tower, but received no answer. I decided to land there because I felt that the turbulence would not subside. After I landed, I sent the passenger to the tower to advise them of my situation, if anyone was there. It was at this point that agents from the government came up to us and demanded my pilot's license.

Title: R22 PLT ENTERED ARPT CLASS D AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC AND THEN LWOC.
Narrative: I WAS FLYING AN R22 HELI AND WAS IN THE AREA OF BOCA RATON, FL. THE WX WAS FORECAST TO BE CLR AND WINDY, BUT I HAD ENCOUNTERED LIGHT TO MODERATE TURB. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RHC FLT MANUAL, I WAS SEEING A SAFE LNDG SPOT AND DECIDED TO GO TO BOCA RATON ARPT WHICH WAS ABOUT 7-8 MI AWAY. SINCE I DID NOT WANT TO LET GO OF THE FLT CTLS, I ASKED THE PAX TO TRY AND TUNE THE CORRECT FREQ FOR THE ARPT. HE HAD SOME DIFFICULTY SINCE HE WAS NOT A PLT. AFTER HE FINALLY GOT THE CORRECT FREQ, I MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE TWR, BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER. I DECIDED TO LAND THERE BECAUSE I FELT THAT THE TURB WOULD NOT SUBSIDE. AFTER I LANDED, I SENT THE PAX TO THE TWR TO ADVISE THEM OF MY SIT, IF ANYONE WAS THERE. IT WAS AT THIS POINT THAT AGENTS FROM THE GOV CAME UP TO US AND DEMANDED MY PLT'S LICENSE.
