Narrative:
Arrival to ewr. We were descending on the dylin 1 arrival to ewr with about 100 KT tailwind when ATC called our attention to the crossing at dupont VOR was FL220. We were focused on making the crossing at stefe at 13000 ft which was 24 DME off of dqo VOR. ATC had already slowed us to 250 KTS. We had overlooked the restr at dqo. Looking at the STAR all the restrs are below and to the right of the arrival route, but dqo is a VOR and the restr is under the VOR frequency and to the top and left of the arrival. ATC said no problem, and it won't happen to me again, but it is a hidden trap in my view. The rest of the flight was normal.
