Narrative:

We were descending via dylin 1 arrival in a B737-800 with speed brake restr (not over 300 KTS). ATC kept us high with a speed of 310 KTS or greater. We told them we may not be able to make altitude restrs on STAR. We made all but the last one. We were at 9800 ft at dylin, not 8000 ft as there was a tailwind of 80+ KTS at 8000 ft. Controllers should know B737-800 limitations and, with large tailwinds, the potential for altitude busts on the SID. Impossible for this airplane to do the SID in today's conditions.
