Narrative:
This problem was caused by alcohol. I believe it is an isolated case. The passenger was consuming alcohol that he bought from duty free as well as the one we serve. We did not know till later that he was drinking on his own. We need to be more aware of people buying alcohol and monitor them. I think we must treat passenger under the influence with much care and not escalate their confrontational behavior.

Title: A CABIN ATTENDANT RPT ON AN INTOXICATED PAX WHO WAS PROVIDING HIS OWN ALCOHOL IN THE CABIN ON AN INTL FLT FROM MIA, FL.
Narrative: THIS PROB WAS CAUSED BY ALCOHOL. I BELIEVE IT IS AN ISOLATED CASE. THE PAX WAS CONSUMING ALCOHOL THAT HE BOUGHT FROM DUTY FREE AS WELL AS THE ONE WE SERVE. WE DID NOT KNOW TILL LATER THAT HE WAS DRINKING ON HIS OWN. WE NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF PEOPLE BUYING ALCOHOL AND MONITOR THEM. I THINK WE MUST TREAT PAX UNDER THE INFLUENCE WITH MUCH CARE AND NOT ESCALATE THEIR CONFRONTATIONAL BEHAVIOR.
