Narrative:
I was #1 on runway 13R at dal. I was on tower frequency as I did run-up. No contact, ie, he (controller) was not talking to anyone at runway 13R. There was a commercial airliner about 50-100 yards on taxiway moving towards me. I called tower and gave call sign and said 'ready runway 13R.' he said cleared for takeoff. I did. Then he called up on climb out and said the clearance was for the airliner behind me. I had been on tower frequency for over 1 min. He never contacted me or said anything about the airplane behind me. He must not have known the order at the runway. There's no way that the airliner could have taken off without me moving. I was on the yellow centerline at hold short line. He never contacted me about clearing the plane behind me and blocked by me for takeoff. As #1, and hearing 'cleared for takeoff' immediately after I said 'ready runway 13R,' I took off. I must have missed the call sign if he gave it.

Narrative: I WAS #1 ON RWY 13R AT DAL. I WAS ON TWR FREQ AS I DID RUN-UP. NO CONTACT, IE, HE (CTLR) WAS NOT TALKING TO ANYONE AT RWY 13R. THERE WAS A COMMERCIAL AIRLINER ABOUT 50-100 YARDS ON TXWY MOVING TOWARDS ME. I CALLED TWR AND GAVE CALL SIGN AND SAID 'READY RWY 13R.' HE SAID CLRED FOR TKOF. I DID. THEN HE CALLED UP ON CLBOUT AND SAID THE CLRNC WAS FOR THE AIRLINER BEHIND ME. I HAD BEEN ON TWR FREQ FOR OVER 1 MIN. HE NEVER CONTACTED ME OR SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE AIRPLANE BEHIND ME. HE MUST NOT HAVE KNOWN THE ORDER AT THE RWY. THERE'S NO WAY THAT THE AIRLINER COULD HAVE TAKEN OFF WITHOUT ME MOVING. I WAS ON THE YELLOW CTRLINE AT HOLD SHORT LINE. HE NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT CLRING THE PLANE BEHIND ME AND BLOCKED BY ME FOR TKOF. AS #1, AND HEARING 'CLRED FOR TKOF' IMMEDIATELY AFTER I SAID 'READY RWY 13R,' I TOOK OFF. I MUST HAVE MISSED THE CALL SIGN IF HE GAVE IT.
