Narrative:

Signed release, cleared fuel 10.9. At aircraft, fuel sheet was in cockpit. It showed 10.9+.4 taxi (total 11.3). Gallons boarded was within tolerance, however, total showed 12.6, 1300 pounds over. Aircraft gauges showed 12.8. Called fueler and supervisor. Fueler stated that since he had too many aircraft to fuel he did not have time to return if additional fuel was required. Therefore, he added more, and just filled out the gallons boarded to match the tolerance. I asked for a correct fuel sheet. He just scratched out the gallons boarded and added a new figure, calculations did not work out. I then asked for what was 'really' boarded. He gave me a third figure. I then asked for the aircraft to be stuck, and received a fourth fuel sheet with a different gallons boarded. In tolerance was checked falsely. I got 3 false fuel sheets, and had 1 sheet altered after the fact. When I contacted the dispatcher regarding the problem, she was in too much of a hurry and just wanted to alter the release to match the fuel without 'first' finding out why and what. I think there is too much pressure to get flts out and on time. I strongly recommend that the gallons boarded calculated be returned to a required computation.

Title: A320 CAPT INSISTED ON GETTING A VALID FUEL SHEET PRIOR TO DEP.

Narrative: SIGNED RELEASE, CLRED FUEL 10.9. AT ACFT, FUEL SHEET WAS IN COCKPIT. IT SHOWED 10.9+.4 TAXI (TOTAL 11.3). GALLONS BOARDED WAS WITHIN TOLERANCE, HOWEVER, TOTAL SHOWED 12.6, 1300 LBS OVER. ACFT GAUGES SHOWED 12.8. CALLED FUELER AND SUPVR. FUELER STATED THAT SINCE HE HAD TOO MANY ACFT TO FUEL HE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO RETURN IF ADDITIONAL FUEL WAS REQUIRED. I THEN ASKED FOR THE ACFT TO BE STUCK, AND RECEIVED A FOURTH FUEL SHEET WITH A DIFFERENT GALLONS BOARDED. IN TOLERANCE WAS CHKED FALSELY. I GOT 3 FALSE FUEL SHEETS, AND HAD 1 SHEET ALTERED AFTER THE FACT. WHEN I CONTACTED THE DISPATCHER REGARDING THE PROB, SHE WAS IN TOO MUCH OF A HURRY AND JUST WANTED TO ALTER THE RELEASE TO MATCH THE FUEL WITHOUT 'FIRST' FINDING OUT WHY AND WHAT. I THINK THERE IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE TO GET FLTS OUT AND ON TIME. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT THE GALLONS BOARDED CALCULATED BE RETURNED TO A REQUIRED COMPUTATION.
