Narrative:
We cleared position and hold. I called for flight controls unlock, hold bleeds and lights and cap. I did have continuous ignition, strobe and taxi light on. However, my first officer turned bleed off, and called lights on. Lights were off, I did not realize we were not cleared for takeoff. I did turn on landing lights. We never got cleared for takeoff. After takeoff, tower told me to call. I returned the call upon arrival sju. Violation already filed. Memory keys not complied with. Fact that lights not on was not caught, did not trigger we were not cleared for takeoff.
