Narrative:
Aircraft arrived with very small aft lavatory leak more like a seep. Pre-assigned aircraft troubleshot and found suspect leak on right lavatory. I started to placard right aft lavatory as aircraft was being boarded. While other mechanic continued working outside. After aircraft departed I found that the outside mechanic had fixed the lavatory and left in service and found no external leaks.
