Narrative:
We were told to taxi to runway 6L, hold short of runway 6R. This occurred at cleveland hopkins international. We held short of runway 6R on taxiway north, as instructed. Controller then told us to 'taxi into position and hold runway 6L.' as we started to taxi, (aircraft was halfway on runway 6R), controller asked us 'air carrier X is that you on taxiway november?' we replied, 'yes sir.' controller responded, 'air carrier X, hold short of runway 6R.' since we were already half way across runway 6R, we continued across and told the tower. The tower sent airplane on final for runway 6R around. Controller then instructed us to taxi into position and hold runway 6L. Realizing his mistake, the controller said, 'air carrier X cleared for takeoff runway 6L, sorry guys.'
