Narrative:

The captain made his 'prepare for landing PA.' immediately after that, the aircraft experienced severe turbulence. Myself and the other main cabin flight attendants were in the rear galley. We held on to the handholds in the galley, until we could situation in the nearest row of seats. It was really choppy. No one was hurt. All of the passenger were in their seats, thankfully. We eventually (about 5 mins) got into our jump seats and then we landed safely.
